Why I Fell in Love With Graphic Design

So my major coming into FGCU was actually biology and I really wanted to be a vet. That was something that I thought I really wanted to do. And I did but the course work was too much for me. So I started looking at other options. I was between graphic arts or sociology. I was the kind of kid that would make little music videos on Videostar (idk if anyone still remembers that app lol). Anyways, I had a lot of fun with that. I even had an instagram account for awhile where I would make cool little edited videos of some of the gymnastics I did at the time. I also always liked the concept of making youtube videos as a kid and I still do now, but never had the skill or resources to actually do it. So I thought with all of that, I would go for digital media design and it was the best thing I've ever done. I love this major and I love getting to create all sorts of cool things. I want to do a passion project one day when I'm not as busy where I can make a very highly edited video the exact way I want to about my topic of choice. It would be in the style of most commentary videos on youtube except I swear the whole time and add in a bunch of stupid edits to the videos. Anyways, this is just me yapping about my love for the graphic arts and if you're unsure about pursuing something like this, I would say go it
